Service was just OK. I think our waiter said 10 words to us. Would set different things on our table and not say a word. My Mussels and Wedge Salad was very good. Calamari and zucchini sticks where wonderful. We waited a long time for our entree. My husbands steak was burnt on outside not just charred. Our waiter acted like he could care less if we where there or not. When he tried to sell us drinks, sides or dessert and we declined he lost interest in us. Bad thing because we are good tippers. Would not go back for the cost and service. We have been to 801 in Des Moines. Much better place.

Our first time was fabulous. Great food. Friendly service. Even received a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Will definitely return.

Every single employee we encountered from the Door Man to the Hostess’s to our fab server Wes were so so kind and so professional. Every bite was delicious. Every sip as well. Truly a wonderful experience. Absolutely 0 complaints.

Questions & Answers

Actually , you can bring in your own wine. There is a cork fee but it is very reasonable.

I have had different steaks. I love the bone in prime rib with horseradish sauce, and the delmonico ribeye is fantastic as well. I like the bone marrow butter bath is my choice of topping. If you want to spend some money they have a 6 ounce waygu sirloin. It literally melts in your mouth. Sneak the lobster mac and cheese

Yes, they do take reservations. We have also been there for dinner, without reservations, and are still usually able to be seated without any problems or bad wait times.

Hi Brett! We will be open in mid-June. Please follow our Facebook page for re-opening dates and guidelines. Thank you!

I would doubt Chophouse does that, but shoot, you never know. 801 Grill (near 101st and Pacific) is a little more relaxed and I would bet they'd do it. They have amazing food, as well.

Hi Paul - our corkage fee is $25 per 750ml bottle.

Yes. There is a children's menu.
